thks for yr reply and yr additional info abt the bedok shop.....

oh....so u went there yesterday and they are still selling.
btw, u said glass cutting board, sorri, u mean made of glass not plastic ??

I went to get my specs adjusted, so since I was there, thought might as well walk to the shop to see if they are still selling and found they they have expanded the shop by taking over the unit that was previously occupied by Phoon Huat and also still selling the glass cutting board. Yes, you didn't read wrong, it is a glass cutting board.

OIC.....thks for yr effort to walk there to check it out.

actually, i would prefer it made of glass ratehr than plastic,
as u will not be eating the likelyhood of \"plastic chips\" when doing mould cutting of the kneaded dough. ( i mean cookie cutter)

No problem, was a matter of walking to the shop since I was there at Bedok yesterday. Yes, glass is better than plastic and more hygenic too since it does not have those 'tiny gaps' where germs can hide and of course, cleaning it is a breeze too and that was why I decided on a glass cutting board as compared to a plastic one and of course, like you said, can be used as a kneading/cookie cutting board too.

Twinkle! Congrats on your virgin bread...Lovely!!! Yes, yellow is due to the butter. I must remind myself not to confuse twinkle and tweety... kekeke Olive spread is not as yellow. Your crust looks very brown too....is this regular or extra bake time?
