      Dear Parent

Need your advice, I'm currently facing a difficult situation now, my girl is going for her RAD exam this month, however her ballet exam crashes with school test, which no make up test if she miss it.

The ballet center has email to RAD UK to see if the examiner allows her group to start @ the later timing. I'm not sure if this arrangement can be done? The ballet center told me they will get back to me as soon as possible.

Any parent has encountered this before? I am very worried.. ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™

It was happened last year for my DD Grade 5 RAD exam. her Ballet teacher in CC managed to changed her group to pm slot and really thank the other 3 girls wining to change the timing just because for my DD couldnโ€™t skip her P6 test. Hope your dd can able to change the timing too. Gook Luck ๐Ÿ˜„

Thanks for all the advise, yes the ballet center will send in the request, they told normally should be ok to swop the timing with the other group.

I was wondering why the RAD exam schedule must be around our exam timing? Can the ballet center put a request to the RAD to request a suitable date for Singapore kids? If not, they should be flexible to allow morning session to take the exam in the afternoon.

So stress, like going for a lucky draw whether your kid ballet center get a nice date for the exam.

The school will also try to put those in academically critical years (like P6, secondary school etc) on the weekend so it won't clash with exams.

              Hi All,

Anyone have heard of Palais Dance Studio? Seem like very good the credentials of the founder but the fee is at $150 for 10 lessons.

Anyone can recommend any dance studio preferable near Redhill or Bukit Merah area?

My gal is going for for RAD grade 2 exam tomorrow..and last night she was down suddenly with high fever..and this morning, still having fever with bad cough.

I am worried if she is fit to take the exam tomorrow. Anyone can advise me if I can defer the exam? Or if I show proof like medical cert..will the examiner be lenient in her marking. I am worried that she will get fit cough (she is very prone) during the midst of exam.. ๐Ÿ˜ข

I got mine from Sinma - the shops that sell hair accessories..I think Chameleon outlets also sell..alternatively, you can ask the ballet teacher to buy for you.
