Hi new here just wanted to check whether $260/13 lessons for a 1hr 15 min ballet grade 6 class reasonable?
Yes, that is extremely reasonable and way below the market rate. Usually around 350 onwards for a term.

          Hi,

I am looking at Yan Ballet Academy at Kinex. May I know if any review / comment on this ballet school? Tqvm!
Yan Ballet is marketed as a competition studio with elite training programmes. Depends on what you want for your kid, recreational or more serious type of ballet training. Some kids do well in competitive atmosphere, others prefer more relaxed and fun.

Does anyone have experience with Cheng ballet? It does not follow rad syllabus - anyone followed through with Cheng and managed to dsa? Is the system good?

Anyone has any comments about attitude ballet at Bukit Timah plaza? Are they are good place to go to if my girl has interest and talent in ballet and dance and likely to continue for some time?

Cheng Ballet uses their own syllabus and exams. While the standard is high, students do not have backing of RAD cert which is fairly recognized in Singapore. Rigorous and teachers are known to be quite strict and no nonsense. However if you prefer tangible and recognized worldwide qualifications, RAD is still the way to go. There are schools that have RAD and additional elite team training

Hi all, my first just took pre-ballet exam for CTSD and we are planning to send her for the pre-ballet RAD exam as well next year. Any recommendations for schools in the east (Marine Parade / Bedok etc) that offers both syllables?

Hi everyone. I’m wondering when you think it is a good time for a girl to start trying out ballet classes. And also, any recommendations for ballet classes near Bukit Merah / River Valley area?

my girl has been learning ballet since 2.5 years old following RAD syllabus, she is 6 now - is it a must to learn to do split? I don’t see her ballet school enforcing this, and the ballet teacher said ballet is more of movements and split is more on gymnastics?
