Maybe mine was the very first of such a model and perhaps things are a bit different now and then. Mine was as far back as 2004.
Yeah, that could be it.
I used my sis' recently during CNY.
She bought the steam oven when she shifted into that house about 1 year ago.
If I am not wrong, there's only one model in the market now. Sharp, right? -
Just wondering could it be Sharp Healsio? This is the steam oven that I’ve been eyeing too.
Just that the price is very steep! -

It's a Miele, build-in type. -
Panasonic and sharp are the brands I heard is in the market that offered more affordable price. Anyone knows where we can see the live demo?

Haha I have been feeding my DH with steamed food and oven baked fish so is thinking of getting a steam oven which I heard can do a better job. Also with my DD growing up, I need to cook dinner more often.If i had the space, i'd definintely get a steam oven too!
(hahaha, also means my hubby and kids will be eating alot more steamed food. hehe) -

Anybody has more feedback on Steam Oven? What brand did you buy?

In the end I didn't get a steam oven as the price is too steep and my hubby worried that it will become a white elephant. He has only approved my purchase of a conventional oven lol.
Hope the price will drops a few years later and I can try persuading him again.

My mum went to my neighbour's place to learn steam cake. Hers was a Miele countertop steam oven. Very good.
A friend used the Miele built-in. Also commented that it is good.
Am undecided between the Miele or the Sharp but will only get it when my microwave breaks down. Still have time. Hope prices will come down then.
