If I am successful at 2b, can I go register and ballot (if any) for 2c at another school? This is because I am afraid that I will fail at 2c and still have 2b to fall on. Pls advise
You must give up the place you got in 2B in order to bid in 2C. So if you failed in 2C, you will also lose the place you may have gotten in 2B.

Need advice. I m eligible for 2b at St Anthony Primary School, which is 5 mins drive and 2c for West Spring Primary which is literally below my block. There is a new playground below my block and every evening all the kids who are playing there are from WSP. If I put my kid to SAP, he might not have much friends downstairs but he will get a boost to SJI (affiliated). If I put my kid at WSP, he will have lots of friends downstairs but I can’t help him to get into a good school like I could with SAP. Of course everything also need to comes to good PSLE results. Pls advise thk u
I would just stick to St Anthony's in Phase 2B. It's not worth the risk to try for West Spring.

Hi parents, would u risk a more or less confirmed placing through PV at a popular neighbourhood school (Horizon Pri), or go for PV at a SAP school (Holy Innocents Pri) for 50% chance of entry at 2B?

How \"good\" a school is, is dependent on teachers and students, and we know how this can change depending on time. A good school might be good because of some good teachers and some outstanding students. What remains more constant is the culture of a school.

Horizon Primary is by no means a \"popular neighborhood school\". It is almost impossible to get in in Phase 2C. If you can somehow guarantee a placing in Phase 2B, that would be the best.

That’s on the premise that you are accepted as a PV for both schools. You could in fact be rejected as a PV for both schools and this question wouldn’t arise.

wait until the school offer u a vacancy in the PV, first.

If indeed after applying for PV and you successfully gotten a place at Holy Innocent, by then, everyday u can go and visit Holy Innocent since you are an accepted PV. You can anytime observe the behavior of the students there, observe the teachers there ?

Then do the same thing, to Horizon primary. From there, u will get the answer directly yourself - which is a better school, for your kid. Because you are a PV in both schools & have observed so much things going on, in both schools already.

                      Hello!

We live in Bedok reservoir area. My son is an Indian PR. We have the following schools within 1km. Which one is good and have chances for PR to get in?

                      Within 1km:
                      Red Swastika
                      Yuneng
                      Fengshan
                      Within 2km:
                      Changkat
                      Bedok green
                      St Hilda’s

                        Hi Good Morning,
I assume your son who is a PR - going on Phase 2C :
There is no chance for Red Swastika, Yuneng and St Hilda's as balloting is for SC only.
You may consider to apply Fengshan at Phase 2C, if not success, then can consider Bedok green or Changkat at Phase 2C(S).
