I bought a set of casco science process skills (Lower block) at $6.50 each, down from $8.50. Alamak :stupid: when I reached home, I realized I bought it earlier. So quickly went to popular today to do an exchange.

Don't bother to go down to popular expo...very crowded and range is incomplete. There is some kids fair going on as well.

I did this for one of the Math books and did not realize for 2-3 weeks. Then I pass it to my friend for free (of course, without telling my DH).

Don't worry, I had the same experience too...

              Hi Mommies,

Don't worry, I had the same experience too...[/quote]ha ha ha..looks like all we kiasu mummies have suffered the same at one point of time..

In the beginning of this year, I bought one of the maths heuristics books and eagerly came home.. :boogie:
but later found that I had already bought it the previous year :yikes:
lucky found an office colleague whose daughter is also in the same level as my DD.
managed to pass the book to her..phew..lucky break there..
so now, before I go to popular..always have a peek at the pile of assessment books at home.. 🤷 never know when I will buy the book already at home

We will always suffer this 'buying duplicate' thing. Fortunately I detected early, so minimized my loss by exchanging and topping up a little. Now I take a pic of the assessment books on my shelf and store inside my hp. Hopefully I don't make the same mistake again :xedfingers:

Strangely I do not fancy casco. :?

Same story for me last week, only realised we already have the same one when DS commented the comprehension passage is similar. Same author but assessment book cover different.. .. :slapshead:

same here,My son's school recommend a book for compo then I searched in the popular website,I couldn't remember cos the cover different. Then after I bought I found I have already but different cover page. Now he use one book at school one book at home. :moneyflies:
After that, If I want to buy, I have doubt, I have already or not.Ending with not buy and think go back and check and double confirm before buy.

I am using the power science guide.(lower primary)

for me, I think they r pretty OK as they r short and sweet. My son will faint if the reference book gets too thick.

When my son finishes his PSLE, i will need to go through all his science assessment books from P3 to P6. Bcos my daughter will be in P3 next year. so I need to buy suitable ones when she has to learn diversity, systems, cycles etc.

There are so many titles avail now…it’s going to be tougher now.

For upper block, my boy is using several titles…have to learn new stuff and also revise lower block to make sure he still remembers.

PS: when I have duplicate copies and cannot exchange, also give to friends quietly. Cannot let hubby know.
