I've completely let-go...I usually take a week plus to unwind completely during holidays. Need to charge up batteries nearer end of the week for Term 3.

That i-Science PSLE Guide by Chua. The 'slim' version of Ultimate Science.

            http://i51.tinypic.com/2dmbngw.jpg\">

            Hi Janet,
:thankyou: - I believe that is the above one?

Last weekend was at popular when I came across this book (actually more of a guide book than an assessment)
            I-science by chua tung kian
\"The only handbook you need for Psle\" quoted on front cover. I got carried away as I stood there reading almost half the book. It's a good book if lots of myths, clarification, explaination. I think i may get it for DS.
One interesting note I found out why cockroaches when sprayed with insecticide over turn and why their legs will move vigorously for sometime.

(Yes it was this book that I mentioned in my previous message)

              Hi hashroop,
:thankyou: for the recommendation; I will keep this in mind for the time being πŸ˜‰

I received that too, but have stopped buying. Suggest mummies who need to get books to go there for a look. But control your purchase. What counts is quality, not quantity. Believe it or not, I really feel it this P6 year - no point getting the kids to keep doing when they already know, for the school will be doing those drills too.

True, I agree. I stopped going to POPULAR. Cos I never returned empty handed from that shop.

Yep, no see no buy! There are 101 Maths / Science assessment books out there, and the questions in quite a number of them are just more or less the same save some tweaking here and there. Those questions will be repeated in the top school papers parents buy too. And repeated again when school teacher give / tuition centre provide. :slapshead:[/quote]Heyya Pen88n & plum-cake... i get watcha mean and fully support that thought! 100%. :celebrate:

That was why i wrote this post below sometime back...

For my case, DD1 finishes the revision papers for topics up to her Term 2 work, i.e. Diversity (excluding Materials which will only cover in Term 3 :skeptical: ) for \"Primary 3/4 Longman My Weekly Companion Science Book A\" only πŸ˜‰

She always :siam: whenever I took out the \"Science Process Skills\" or \"Learning Science for Lower Block 3/4\"....

Anyway, it is the last day of the school holiday lioa so I said to her this morning, \" Well, next Monday will be a new term, new challenge! Let's both of us work hand-in-hand together!\" πŸ’‹
