I received that too, but have stopped buying. Suggest mummies who need to get books to go there for a look. But control your purchase. What counts is quality, not quantity. Believe it or not, I really feel it this P6 year - no point getting the kids to keep doing when they already know, for the school will be doing those drills too.

True, I agree. I stopped going to POPULAR. Cos I never returned empty handed from that shop.

Yep, no see no buy! There are 101 Maths / Science assessment books out there, and the questions in quite a number of them are just more or less the same save some tweaking here and there. Those questions will be repeated in the top school papers parents buy too. And repeated again when school teacher give / tuition centre provide. :slapshead:[/quote]Heyya Pen88n & plum-cake... i get watcha mean and fully support that thought! 100%. :celebrate:

That was why i wrote this post below sometime back...

              Hi Brenda,
So true...these 3 assessment books really hard to find time to complete. Have been pushing quite a bit during the last 2 weeks of hols bcos son's brain is filled with nothing but WII and FUN :frustrated:

For my case, DD1 finishes the revision papers for topics up to her Term 2 work, i.e. Diversity (excluding Materials which will only cover in Term 3 :skeptical: ) for \"Primary 3/4 Longman My Weekly Companion Science Book A\" only πŸ˜‰

She always :siam: whenever I took out the \"Science Process Skills\" or \"Learning Science for Lower Block 3/4\"....

Anyway, it is the last day of the school holiday lioa so I said to her this morning, \" Well, next Monday will be a new term, new challenge! Let's both of us work hand-in-hand together!\" πŸ’‹

                  Hi Champion,

I told my son to get the topic of \"Water Cycle\" done and he gave me a :whut: look. We have done quite a bit of Grammar, Synthesis & Chinese (revise 'A' book) this June...not much Science. They are playing Wii now :slapshead: bcos I told them I'm keeping the console tonight.

Told son the same thing too...next Monday will be start of Term 3 and MORE challenging stuff to come  If he doesn't buck up, he's going to get it from me :spank:

                    Hi Janet

I think most of the parent will start keeping the game latest by this weekend and release after SA2.

This June holiday, I didn't take out his Nintendo. After 9pm today :nunchuk: , all games will be kept up until after SA2. Anyway, I doubt he will have much time to play end of this year...PSLE next year. My daughter also needs to ramp up her work...no more honeymoon.
