So true...these 3 assessment books really hard to find time to complete. Have been pushing quite a bit during the last 2 weeks of hols bcos son's brain is filled with nothing but WII and FUN :frustrated: -
For my case, DD1 finishes the revision papers for topics up to her Term 2 work, i.e. Diversity (excluding Materials which will only cover in Term 3 :skeptical: ) for \"Primary 3/4 Longman My Weekly Companion Science Book A\" only
She always :siam: whenever I took out the \"Science Process Skills\" or \"Learning Science for Lower Block 3/4\"....
Anyway, it is the last day of the school holiday lioa so I said to her this morning, \" Well, next Monday will be a new term, new challenge! Let's both of us work hand-in-hand together!\"

Hi Champion,
I told my son to get the topic of \"Water Cycle\" done and he gave me a :whut: look. We have done quite a bit of Grammar, Synthesis & Chinese (revise 'A' book) this June...not much Science. They are playing Wii now :slapshead: bcos I told them I'm keeping the console tonight.
Told son the same thing too...next Monday will be start of Term 3 and MORE challenging stuff to come  If he doesn't buck up, he's going to get it from me :spank: -

Hi Janet
I think most of the parent will start keeping the game latest by this weekend and release after SA2. -

This June holiday, I didn't take out his Nintendo. After 9pm today :nunchuk: , all games will be kept up until after SA2. Anyway, I doubt he will have much time to play end of this year...PSLE next year. My daughter also needs to ramp up her work...no more honeymoon.

Hi Mummies,
Read from the other thread, there is this recommendation on \"Horrible Science series\"

I find this link

Any parents read this before? -
Hi Champion,
I was recommended the books 2 years ago…flipped thru & din like it & neither did my kids (P2&P3) then. Later, I bought a few to try again, but they are sitting prettily at the bookshelf, so I stopped.
However, the friend who recommended the books told me her son in GEP P4 plus classmates all reading it. Another friend DD (GEP & loves science) loves it too. I gave her a set of 20 for her birthday last week & she devour 1-2 books a day during the holidays. I think those who like science seems to like it, my kids sadly dun. You can try getting from library. Popular sells but ex. -
Hi champion,
My ds has the whole set. He started reading them from p2, loves them and re-reads them often even now. I didnt read them...I don't have many science cells
