Oh I did not go to the bookshop quene as it was crowded.Somemore they said all pack in package & cannot have ala carte pattern. Guess I would go another day settle this booklist item.

BTW, the exercise book (Not Optional) is it all having Radin Mas logo?

Yes, all exercise books have the RMPS logo.

I thought for all schs (not just RMPS), they will insist that the students use exercise books with the sch logo so you have to buy from the sch bkshop.

Yes, it makes sense all schools require their students to use exercise books with the school logos on them.

In RMPS, we have x number of exercise books under the presumably \"compulsory\" section, while y number of books under the optional items. These are spare exercise books, in case the students need them.

The jotter books Pacific sold me only has Pacific's logo on it. Does that mean these are only for my DD to take notes and not be handed in for grading? So I suppose it is alright to just use any exercise books?

All the exercise books and jotter books have RMPS logo on them. Only the note book does not.

It's up to you, right? That's why the exercise book covers are part of the optional items.

The notebook is the book colour type.

For P1, we bought the "recommended" package of exercise books but DD1 ended up with some extras so for P2, we’re not getting any of the "packages". We’ll just buy them singly as and when she runs out of them. The only book she uses that does not have a sch logo on it is a lined jotter book, and her EL teacher uses it for writing in conjunction with Stellar themes/activities. I think it looks more like a draft book rather than the actual writing worksheet.


Plastic covers are optional and we didn’t bother getting any, even the type that come in rolls and you have to DIY. Turns out to be worth it since her books withstood the usage and in the blink of an eye, the year has passed.
