      Willow:
my MIL loves to give us stuff that she doesnt want anymore like:

      - dirty muddy slippers ( for me to use it in the bathroom...first time didnt know ...whole floor all muddy :yikes: )
-her clothes which she thinks fits me ( i 'm not that old yet k)
      - fruits ( strongly hinting that i never feed my family fruits at all)
      - pillowcases tt are a tad too yellow for me ....
      etc etc
sometimes i think she is trying to see how i will react only
He..hee...MIL undergarments definitely not the 'glam' type.. :faint:
Just received some expired $2.80 ringgit chinese cookies from her, all broken up in bits and pieces.. ...wondering why she needs to do that really

Last time, my mil gave me fruits that are rotten or cannot be eaten. These fruits were on display at the altar table for 2 weeks. Then she packed and asked her filial son to gave me. When I showed him how rotten the fruits were and what she meant by giving me rotten fruits, he insisted that the dearest mom didn't know.

the most i dread is when the soup is not finished in a bowl, she will pour it back to the pot again. when i saw that, I told my hubby straight and no way, I allow my kids to drink that. It’s so unhygienic. Lucky, my hubby will shoot her so not so bad.

I think it's all right if there is a serving spoon and it is hygienic. If everybody dips their chopsticks in and then suck their chopstick or lick their spoons and then take the food again, it is so gross and disgusting. :yikes:
I eat overnight food too. Normally, if there's any leftover noodle or fried rice, I'll eat them for breakfast the next day.

How abt mil who practise favoritism? Unfortunately, you’re married to a less favored son of hers…so you’re the "less privileged dil" eg when CNY, mil will specially reserve good food for the "favorite" son’s potential girl friend (now dil), etc… This dil enjoy all the "first-class treatment…think if she gets pregnant, she’ll be served like Queen by mil…actually I’m not so much of jealous, just feel unjust and besides, this dil is not appreciative of mil effort at all (although appear to be sweet and thankful in front of her…how fake)!
