      Hquek

My mil already agreed even before her 苦肉计. I believe this wayang show is to wear down all resistance after DH told her to be fair to ils where the flat is concerned. My good- natured DH will never think that sil is still going to take unfair advantage of her parents even after he talked to her. I think more action is needed from me. Very unhappy and worst is cannot show it but have to bottle it up.

I am fortunate that I don't have much IL problem except my 2nd BIL never give my PIL monthly allowance except once during CNY. My PIL depends on my DH to support them every month. (my DH is the youngest) my SIL used to call my DH up (whenever my MIL borrow money from her) and asked my DH did he gives my MIL allowance this month? As my PIL live in Malaysia we only go in once a month to give her the allowance. I got irritated every time she called my DH on this matter because we alway give but we k only go during weekend and not possible to b always on last day of the month. Why she never ask her 2nd bro who live so near my PIL? They all live in the same area.
Can do bank transfer to ur PIL?

Indeed my SIL is so protective over her hubby also that she asked my FIL to climb up the stair to help her drill the holes for curtain rods instead of her hubby. I wonder who fall down who recovering time is longer plus the medical expenses occur. Her hubby is her LORD while parents treat like maid like that. *faint* When I am not around I see no evil, heard no evil.

Wasted that most of us here like me do not know how to ACT, else using "苦肉计" maybe we can also earn a fortune.

Precisely thats what I suggested to my DH. He did ask his mum to open acct but she refuses saying too troublesome for her. We told her we will still visit her even if we transfer via bank but she said why bother? When u back then give.

Your SIL is really like what old people said - finger bend out & not bend in type.

I believe in karma...u reap what you have sow, plus things will go around and come back to u. If we treat were to parents like that next time kids learn and also treat us the same way how? We are living examples for for the children lor..

Sometimes is hubby's family side problem I just share my views with hubby will do not to overstep the boundary also. Wait in-law thinks we KAPO.

Does anyone in-laws communicate with hubby in a dialect or language that you do not understand when u are around? Sounded as if they are comment about u yet do not want u to know like that.

Yup mine speaks Cantonese which isn’t my dialect. I also believe in karma. Trying to stop my kids from too much contact with sil and niece.

If it’s purely an issue that has no repercussion on me I’m happy to let things be.

Hi-5! mine in-laws are also cantonese. I only understand hokkien and teochew. Me no need to stop my son for mixing as they auto never appear in front of us for a long long time. I doubt the cousins even knew each other by face if meet on the road.
