ever suggested to my DH,asked him to go bk there everyday fr dinner.He didn't wanna coz firstly,he has no time to travel there.Secondly,after dinner will stuck there very long time,cannot come hme n rest.Thirdly,the food is suck.Lastly,he dislikes his SIL.
And for that reason, hb refused to move out, therefore, I am not able to get my own house. My FIL is 75, MIL is 70, and I always told him, they are still young, maybe they will outlived me.... -

Vinegar, you are a good wife and mother lah... learn to do and care less. MIL became wary of offending me when I started to literally clam up and do less...
On the brighter side, at least your DH is just calling his mom and not talking to other women! :evil:
Get MIL to join some senior citizen activities to make new friends... think she's plain lonely. -
Before we got married, he had a curfew of 11pm :faint:
Overheard his mother telling him and brother during their private conference that she is very old...visit her often. -

MIL is a control freak.She wanna know everything.In the past,I used to get very agitated coz my DH shares every single things wf her mum.Whereas,he got angry when i share wf my gf,but not wf him.To be frank,i would rather he has close guy frds n talk to them,than wf his mum.Reason,his mum will \"boardcast\" what was told by my DH.MIL stays wf his SIL n brother.His SIL is well known for her channelnewsasia boardcasting talent.
Yes,it is true that i shld look at bright side.At least,he is talking to his mum not other woman.
My MIL also another channelnewsasia reporter,she likes to call n \"drill\" u until u cannot stand it but to tell her,despite u really don't feel like telling her(it is our personal lives anyway).I can't stand up my rights,coz if i do,DH will say she is also part of family so got the rights to know. :scratchhead:
i recall few yrs ago,she kept calling to ask for my kid school balloting result.She kept saying it doesn't matter which school to go..then why kept calling.Reason was her relatives n SIL wanna noe.
