Whatever it is, I will always choose to trust MM Lee's viewpoints, not because I blindly do so but I believe he is a person who does put in deep thoughts before he says something and he has a heart for Singapore.

but for his saying that \"Aljunied has five years to live and repent\"
wonder did he put in deep thoughts b4 saying it ??
wonder these harsh words and smell of arrogance caused how many voters to swing to the opp side.

I probably very 'kiam pa', but how about the Health Minister go to Polyclinic to see doctor....join the queue one hor. And then attempt to get an appointment to see specialist...see how long the wait can be.

          U Very Naive -le!
          They Have \"Speed-Pass\" -le!

Some More Got Card to Get $8 Major Operation Treatment ....
          šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‰

oh no...must test out the system. so cannot bring entourage...just bring ic and go polyclinic to register...no speedpass allowed, this not disneyland you know :dancing:

As for the $8, honestly, I think this is overrated. We all can do it. Just matter of whether we got money to pay for insurance premium or not.

Cut him some slack la....I think he has done enough to be allowed some mistakes, he is after all human. Majority of his strategic thinking is impeccable and importantly he loves Singapore too, he is like the captain of the ship, he will sink himself with Singapore, not run away. I am sure if you put yourself in his shoes, he is entitled to feell hurt that after all his good intentions for SG, the comments he get from the young people are fiery to the extent of disrespectful. He responded emotionally no doubt, but if your grandchild speak rudely, won't you respond with hurt? My mum is not perfect too but I think she has done a lot to deserve respect even if she throws tantrums at times. As a nation, we need to cultivate a strong value system like japan n Korea. I would like to think in today's context singaporeans have grown up to support policies out of respect and not out of fear like in the past. If one thing the nation has not done well in education, I would think it is building good values in people instead of only economic value and that is what is haunting them right now.

I am all for a change for the better , all of us need a \"wake-up\" call and renewal for SG - the ministers or the citizenry , its like the shedding of furs and skin for animal :salute:

If you have a chance ,read the Hard Truths not for the Man but for the
thots that goes behind every issue that was laid out for SG, some very extreme, not many of us can fanthom with.
MM is definitely one that work for SG , i cannot say the same for the others ,yet to find out with this NEW skin. :xedfingers:

All the more his stepping down is that he see the wave that is rushing thru from this New generation :stompfeet: - the need to test the ground by themselves. Just like when our kids tell us Mum you don't understand\"
we just have to let go and still follow from afar lest they fall :imdrowning: because we know better.
                  :hi5:

true, and unfortunately not many politicians can make it with building good values. Our's isn't a perfect world. There are people and there are people; and there are elections... šŸ˜‰

You mean publish the mother's name ? Sorry, it is not in the newspaper cut out that I read.

But I seriously don't think that as a 19 year-old and a president's scholar he would lie about his background in the paper.

He was thanking his mother in the paper.
No, I never suggested any possibility of him lying. But there are untold information.

And, what is a machine operator? job scope? you can be a machine operator whether you're operating a $10 machine or $100mil equipment isn't it? You can be an Independent business Owner or MLM agent, depending how you like to call it.

machine operator cannot have wealthy or powerful relatives?

A lot of pple read at face value and draw their own assumptions..

As of now, the mother's identity is still an unknown, isn't it?

                        Red portion, true..

                        Blue portion, is an unknown.

Who can really tell what are the real intentions of politicians?

They may not welcome WP.. but do they really want to keep GY? Who knows for sure? If LSS can \"migrate\" to EC GRC, a safe zone, why GY cannot?

Anyway.. different pple can hv different views.. there's no definite right or wrong answer..
