Until today I still feel regretful (resentful?) like this too. Why demolish when they just leave the place empty like that? It seems like one of those issues that they just do what they want regardless of sentimental values.... :mad: If it weren't already so long ago, probably would be a political issue of today.....but we all seem to have long memories hor?ksi:
Yeah it was so iconic and hence ironic that they demolished it.
after so many years that place still has no redevelopment.....may be wait for sky higher land price then tender out, so as not to raid the national reserve ??!! :evil: :evil:

Me too! By then I in primary school liao! Went there almost every weekend to buy books whereas my brothers would go ga..ga..over Star Wars toys!
After that, walk through the underpass tunnel (still there today!) to the car-park on the other side to go home.
Remain one of the best memories of my childhood days!
