My boy attends Busy Bees Compo class and he likes it! I find the standard a bit high (i.e. he’s in P2, but the words are P3 standard). However, it acts as a supplement to what he’s learning in school. They also cover oral which I find very useful. I showed my boy some oral pictures and he’s able to describe quite well.

If I am not wrong, they do not cover Oral anymore. They stop doing that since last year.

                Hi Atan,

For my friend her daughter took up both regular + compo class. For my case due to budget constraint I only sent my son for Compo. He got A* and Merit for HMT.

Both of them are from RailMall branch. If you are keen and have time do visit them and you ask the counter to view their course material.
                Tks Mayl,

Yr DS's results was really impressive.
I have checked the RM branch but was concerned that the teacher was relatively new and the schedule was also not very convenient. Does the teacher matter? How about Oral? During yr DS's time, was the sch teaching oral too? I am considering to sign him up for P4. Tks again!

                    Hi Atan,
Hmm, yes during his time is Compo (3 times per month), Comprehension (1 per mth) and oral (twice a yr - during SA exam timing). But now I am not sure, maybe you can check with them. During my DS's time, he being taught by China, Malaysian and Singaporean teacher but not so sure they are new to the centre or not. I think the mat'l and how much our kids absolute during that 2 hrs is what we need to concern. :scratchhead:

Tks Mayl, if I remember correctly, now it is a pure compo class which does not cover compre or oral.

Maybe the compre or oral components are covered under the chinese enrichment class and not the pure compo class. Best to call the school and ask what exactly is covered in both types of classes.
