Hi Brenda10,
Hi, thank your for sharing. How do you find about CASCO Classroom Challenging Maths 6 ?VisualTextEducation:
Simon Eio assessment book will only be useful after your DD has acquired certain aptitude in the subject. maths456 is good for slow and steady scaffolding. It really depends what your child needs rather than pure recommendation from others. let me know if you need help choosing, I can go assessment shopping with you!!! Its one of my favourite hobbies cause it exposes me to more books.
Contact me @92220737 ya
CASCO Classroom Challenging Maths 6 is useful when your child has acquired a certain level in her maths. Not all assessment books are useful for your child. As I mentioned, buying a SUITABLE assessment book for your child is better than just the packaging/marketing/hype-up or recommendation from others. Examine what your child really needs, then pick one that is suitable for her. If she is weak in problem sums and heuristics but strong in fundamentals, buying maths456 will not help much but the mathsheuristics book might be useful. Similiarly, if your child is weak in his/her fundamentals, buying mathsheuristics will not help but maths456 will be useful. If your child is strong in fundamentals/problems sums and looking for more challenging questions, the book you mentioned will then be suitable for her.
You can contact me for help, will be happy to help though.

Hi Leanne,Hi VisualTextEducation,
How about for questions that are unique in paper one? That is the not so common kind of questions?
Regards
Leanne
My apologies. Pardon me for my ignorance. I don't quite understand the part where you mentioned questions that are unique in paper one? The not so common kind of questions, meaning the questions that requires one to think out of the box and occurs in paper 1?
if that is what you meant, you can try the assessment book called Raffles Maths from Popular. They have a few books in total. Its not very expensive, so I am sure you can get all of them. However, do note that these are enrichment books and questions like those only comes out at most 5% in the PSLE and exams. If your child is that close to full marks then thats the book you might want to look out for. Otherwise my advise would be to keep to the heuristics and fundamentals first.
Do contact me should you need further advice ya.
