If you have a stock broking account, you can invest using an Exchange Traded Fund.
Its listed in US, symbol is SLV. -
hi financial guru,
can you give website that I visit and read thru…
is this like buying sliver coins and bar ? sorry I’ve no idea how shd I go about finding out more on the silver investment. thanks to share -
If you have a stock broking account that has access to US stock markets, you can buy it via yr stock broking platform.
You will hold shares in this exchange-traded fund (ETF) similar to how unit trusts work.
This ETF holds only silver assets and is priced at the silver price per ounce. (~US$30+ per share) -
er… Is it a good investment? High risk or not?

I consider silver ultra high risk, higher than listed securities of companies.
Recently the price per ounce dropped from US$48 to US$36 an ounce. That's a 20+% drop in a matter of days! -

1) Physical storage. Where are buyers going to store those precious coins or bars? They will incur additional costs if they want to rent a safe deposit box. :moneyflies:
2) Who certifies the silver or gold is authentic and of a minimum grade? -

I differ in opinion and experience. Of all my investments past and present, I profited the most from silver. I still believe it is a bargain now around US$40.YKVT:
