for Maths - hv you already downloaded Dr Yeap Ban Har slides on 'Bar modeling' Maths concepts, taught around P1 Term 4 ? Next yr 2012, your P1 child will need it. The slides are very useful!

note: only the first qn is P1. The rest are for higher level.
you may download his powerpoint slides on page 95 below, keep for reference later:-

              Kissgurami,

Not all schools. But some schools start teaching ‘Bar Modeling’, around P1 Term 4.

your daughter going Paya Lebar Methodist primary ?

if i am not wrong, Dr Yeap may hv been invited to visit PLMGS - either to give talk on this topic, or had already given the talk. (sorry, my memory failing)

if he had already given the talk, then unlikely he will gown down again to give the same talk. Because so many other Primary schools havent’ got their turn yet. They still waiting for their turn, eagerly. His calendar is fully packed till end of the yr, to give talk to various schools. If he had already given talk at PLMGS, all the more you should download his slides.

why not you pose a thread at PLMGS - check up more ?

                celtricia,

Maths is a subject closer to men. Perhaps get yr husband to teach ? Mommies are closer to languages.
