      Question:

Are you going to buy textbooks from Popular or school bookshop?
same as castle, Dh like convenience.

2009 Nov I was asking around with friends who have older kids. they passed me stuff like Chinese textbook, the character cards etc, even those useless Health Ed textbook, music TB and art TB which were not used at all.

so when we got the school booklist, i started cancelling all those items I already have. (no need to buy, so cancel). Dh already grumbling so troublesome.

but when it was our turn in the queue, i handed the list to the person, they just take a look and with their prepacked bags, they'll just take out those items I cancelled then calc our total and we pay.

Very fast, very efficient, i super like.

buy school uniform and register for school bus also, short queue, and they very auto and brisk. super fast. chop chop. they don't smile and make jokes la, but i find it good that we can settle everything in a morning, orientation, buying everything, fill in giro forms etc.

plus that morning had the P's speech and HOD's speeches too. kids also shown the form tr and class and met their classmates for some activity.

Hm.. some of them mentioned depends on which bookshop the school is..

I forgot which one.. if buy from Popular will be cheaper..

Think dh will say buy everything in the same place to save the hassle..

Er.. Cheaper by how much?[/quote]For textbook, think popular will have 10% off.. :?

It's ok, your identity is well camouflaged, am sure no one who knows you in real life can link you to Bigsnoppy.
Haha I m not so sure about that. If they take all the info in different thread n string it together, they will guess it's me. I have a friend who saw one of my complains in one thread, she straight away know it's me.
