Maybe early is also good, so that we can at least have a few more weeks to see which areas really need to be concentrate more before the real deadline.

I suppose these schools have covered all their syllabus early. That's why can go for early prelim. My DD school still teaches speed topic now. Wonder is this normal or little late?

My DD said they had already covered speed and all the science topic. Seeing all the posts here, I felt that my DD’s school seems to be very relaxing, not much extra supp lessons, only extend 2 hrs for math and chinese each week.

I don’t feel safe at all.

My dc's class had extra lesson for each subject last term. However, they will have only extra lesson for Chinese and English this term.

DD's school teaching net and left with pie chart. Last paper 28th August - so, left with about 4 weeks to PSLE.

My boy’s Prelim starts after Hari Raya. Teachers need time to complete syllabus & revision before Prelim.

Son's actual written papers are right after the PSLE oral...cant remember when prelim oral are. after prelims, still must attend school?
Thought of parking him with tutors instead...full attention rather than all tired after hot sweaty day in school.

                        Champion:

:? :? Why need 2 prelim exams? Then the P6s need to study twice; stress double or triple? 😓
hmmm...I do not see it in this manner...whether there are two prelim exams or early/late prelim exams, the revision is only once and that is for PSLE. I told my dd that the focus is the PSLE and those exams before the PSLE are just like practice papers. 🙂
