It’s really important for parents to remain calm during the exam days. When our children finish after the first day, stay cool, collected and encouraging. Maybe even good not to ask what our children said or didn’t say because there is nothing we can do to change that outcome. If we ask our children to tell us the questions and then what their answers are, we may be tempted to get into a judgemental mode. This can affect their performance for the next day.

I’m surprised at myself. I’m super cool right now. Left DS to do his own revision for oral today. He was very relaxed, and just did his work quietly and calmly. Tonight we’ll pray together as a family and wish DS best of luck and assure him we are his cheerleaders and no matter what happens, it’s all ok.
