My friend’s son 8-2 got into NYJC Science.

Can anyone share some tips how to teach a 16 years old boy to study smart? I see my son is very hard working, even his friends told me he is very serious in class and pay full attention when teacher is teaching. However, his results doesn’t say so. He is border line for most of his subjects. He told me he is careless but I think beside carelessness, he doesn’t know how to apply his knowledge. He is studying hard but not studying smart. One bad thing about him is, he is very quiet in class. Form teachers always tell me the same thing since sec1 - he is too quiet!


I want to help him, I know he can do better than he is now. Please share your experience or expertise

For my son’s school, must get at least A2 or else school will ask the students to re-take the paper in Oct/Nov.

My dd told me she has 6 test after CNY break, crazy right!!

Gloreymum, I thought I was cool. Not kan cheong.. but I actually dreamt that I missed the time to collect the result slip!!!! It was already 6plus in the evening when I recalled that it's PSLE release day & I panick in my dream!!!!!! :rotflmao:

Me too, I thought I am not kan cheong but had nightmares last night.
