Morning CDE , I will advise to bring 2 calculator than change battery .... During exam sure panic if suddenly out of battery.... And time waste for changing ..... What if panic and did not fix properly....

If change to new battery before exam, should be ok bah. Don't think have time to change during exam, ds calculator need to unscrew 6 tiny screws, took me 15mins to change yesterday.

I understand from a teacher that it is MOE rule to have sticker pasted on calculators. However, ds form teacher confirmed yesterday that sticker not required. So, I'm letting him bring two calculators instead.

Btw, his teacher did not mention about ziploc bags too. Luckily there is ksp. Thanks a bunch! All the best to all our dc.

Especially since many of us are PSLE virgins!! Been gulping chamomile tea to stay calm. Thankful that my DD is still cheerful!

I get DS to draw and colour to release stress. I was drawing and colouring too yesterday. Green time is in the evenings at about 6+pm. Don’t want him outdoors when the sun is hot and burning.

Yes indeed. We are really first-timers now.
My son told me 48 hours before flying off. Coming from him, it's indeed positive.

Mine is shooting ice cream sticks at pigeons. Poor pigeons. I asked him to hunt me some pigeons for pigeon soup.

At this point of time, whatever to revise and learn should be completed. What matters is for our DCs to stay upbeat, confident, healthy and most importantly HAPPY. I think we parents should not over emphasize on PSLE as our stress will add on to the kids without our knowing. They may not say it but there are tell-tale signs if you observe your DCs carefully.

Personally, I can’t wait to get this PSLE thingy over soonest possible. I tell my DS that if he uses his 平常心 to sit for his PSLE and sticks to his goals, he will do fine. All the best to the DCs for their first major exam of their lives!
