You can try the one at Sentosa. Can be quite fun if there are enough people.

Thanks! I will go find out! Do you have name I can google or number to call?

        http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions/siloso-point/combat-skirmish-live/

Go in the morning or evening, not so hot. After shooting, can go Luge and/or Segway. :)[/quote] :thankyou:

          Speedy recovery ! 🙏 :please:

            Hi PSLE parents,

Some words of advice as you wait for your DC to return based on my experience. Of course it depends on the child’s personality but some common things pointers.

Let the Child tell talk to you about the paper, don’t probe too much.

Try not to analyse the written paper for more than 15 mins ( Goldilock time). Just enough to give a boost to the confidence levels but not too much to lead to over confidence. One exam over means it is over. Analysing it too much will distract the child.

Remember YOU have to be the control here. While you are dying to know, what he did and how , there is no true value in that. And berating him for not doing the correct stuff is counter-productive at this point. So please be aware of not just what you say but also of your body language.

Most kids will do their own analysis, especially with their friends. And will spend some time trying to find out the “right” answers - be there to firmly turn them away from what is over to focus on what is next. Learning to “Let go” is an important lesson to learn too.

Loosely based on chen’s book(I am still reading and absorbing )- First be mentally prepared, you have to be the emotional “sink” for your child if things have not gone too well. And you are the well he is going to draw strength from to go to the battle tomorrow. So be ready for him/her.

So get ready to welcome home your warriors. Yours is not to fight the war, but to cherish the warriors no matter what.

PS- edited to correct a typo -
Just enough to give a boost to the confidence ( not boot :faint: )

Yes! It is important to absorb all their toxic emotions and DON'T pour your toxic emotions onto them.

The torturing part is I cannot go near DS, afraid to pass the germ to him, I peep and peep at him through the door groove... feel so guilty that I am unable to give him good hugs... *cry in heart*

Yes! Exactly! That's why I spoiled myself this morning. Slept in late... lazed around... wu liao in KSP... so when I fetch him, I am alert and calm, and ready to comfort him IF anything has gone wrong. I am his fortress and I cannot fail him now.
