Not mine, so don't worry. Gosh, they are really fast to take out the banding. It's only been announced recently.
It boils down to one thing - whether MOE wants to get it done, or not.
If top brass wants to do something, it can implement with immediate effect.
If not, we can go on and on, and we will still be ignored or else tell everyone that all schools are good schools. -

I think maybe its already in their plan.....but perhaps brought forward hence the slight haste. Perhaps, this is one of the easiest to implement....first baby step. At least something is done.Layla:

So if they take out banding. What’s going to happen to those "Top" schools and their DSA system? They’ve got the top kids and will continue to top in exams right?

The 'top' schools will still remain...Their top students will still be able be top.
My worry is the COP...with this year being Dragon kids taking PSLE, I guess there will be a higher COP. I've yet to receive that 2013 sec schools listing :rant: -

Top schools are IP schools that attract top 10% of the PSLE students. Not all schools are equally good, even without banding. -
