My boy's principal will be calling the top 10% students in national to go up the stage to collect their results. According to him, there will be around 30 of them.

You mean the top 10% in your son's school?

I think reporters are at a loss...don't know which schools to go.

I know a particular centre list the names of their students who score 260 and above.

They'll just do what they did in the old days before MOE issued embargoed press releases on top scorers. They call up schools and ask them for their results and if they think it's worth mentioning, they head on down.

If they're looking for top scorers, they'll just head to the schools which are likely to have top scorers - NYPS etc. So media attention will still focus on these schools.
