oic. there has been so much discussions about psle this year...just seeing the articles can cause a migraine. my headache is acting up again.
Maybe don't read too much & jus keep cool. All will be well.jtoh:
it's so sudden...wonder what is the instruction to the media from moe...parents and kids are lost in their own world.
MOE can't instruct the media. All they can do is give them a limited press release with no top scorer details. -
don’t read anymore…yes, i believe all will be well after tomorrow.
-
All the best kids for your results tomorrow.

Without this basic statistic how are we going to know how well our kid fare in this national exam ? Unless they implement something like ICAS, give a chart to indicate where the kid stands. Else everything will be in the dark ... :?A member posted that the top and bottom score for the corhot will be indicated in the PSLE result. I wonder will such scores cont to be stated this yr in view of MOE's stand not to publish the top scorers' name.
Pls share if the information is stated in this yr's result slip tmr. Thanks. I'm curious how much information MOE will restrict. -
Even though it will be some more years before my DC take the PSLE and hence this thread is \"none of my business\" yet
, I just want to wish you all the best :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:
Relax and que sera sera!
:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: -
Yes, all will be well tomorrow. Suddenly I’m not worried anymore.
But who knows maybe suddenly have panic attack again! -

I feel a more meaningful result would be to state the child's percentile ranking in the cohort. Why MOE hasn't done this yet, I can't understand.
You may already know this. From past sharing in KSP, I gather the rough percentiles are:
T-Score Percentile (approx.)
200 --- 50 (this one should be accurate)
250 --- 90
260 --- 97
I agree with you that MOE should indicate the percentile information on every student's report card. -

Is it important to have this piece of information? The score of the child and past yr's COP, these infor is not enough to make a good decision on what are the 6 schools to indicate on the form?

You dun want to submit in the way that none of the choice comes true and get posted to a school you may not want.
