        flyfree,
        how about you?
        i dream every night.
no. such dreams are totally unreal.
what i like about dreaming is that i get to 'travel' back in time.

so dreaming every night is not an underlying health problem
just a sorting out of the subconcious mind as we rest :scratchhead:

i guess dreaming means unrested sleep.
my dh has no dreams at night.
i get tired no matter how much i sleep, but i just dunno how to get rested sleep (ie no dreams) unless i am sick and dosed myself with drowsy medication. :siao:

              insider:
              1. I don't usually have dreams in my sleep, maybe twice a year? Often than not, I can't remember the content when wake up. I don't like to have dreams coz usually I will wake up more tired.

              2. My elder son has dreams frequently. Recently he shared with me that his dreams can come in parts, ie, Part I, Part II, Part III, etc, in continuation. He doesn't like to have dreams and find himself 'something wrong' (coz seem like all in the family seldom dream and he is the only one who is 'plauged' by dreams).

              3. Two days ago a good friend shared with me that she dreams almost everyday. If there's a night that she doesn't dream = that night she doesn't sleep. Her dreams were mostly very real kind (like going for a holiday, cockroach crawled into her skin that she tried to dig it out and then she found her hand bruised the next day, etc). She sort of gets use to her dreaming and taking them as her 'night activities'. Oh yes, she also told us that her dreams can come in continueing parts (I was skeptical when my elder son told me dreams can come in 'parts'). Our common psychologist friend told her to record her dreams to see whether there is any 'pattern' so that maybe in future can analyse any psychological trauma that was hidden.

Most of us experienced Déjà vu. My elder son is quite terrified about these Déjà vu experiences...
              insider,
i don't like to dream when i was younger because i lead a stressful life back then (??? subconsciously maybe?? stressful over academic work.). i get plagued by bad dreams and at times i could get skeptical whether i was still dreaming when i had actually woken up. i also don't like dreams where i thought i had woken up, i was still dreaming (happened this afternoon...i 'woke' up a few times and yet was still in a dream. i realised it was because i woke up for a split second and fell back to sleep, and the dream continued on my state of lying in bed).
yes, my dreams also come in parts at times. at times, in a certain dream, i can recall stuff in past dreams.
since my dad passed away some time ago, i do treasure the dreams where he appeared, when he carried on life as usual when he was in good health (ie in my dream, i was in my sec sch years etc) and i get to talk to him.
the decision that i made in my dreams were usually more out-of-my-comfort-zone type as compared to reality. the way/technique i escaped from peril (in dreams) is more or less the same though in different dreams. i take my dream as a sort of leading a life which will never be possible in reality where i am bounded by my responsibilities (hey, i get to handle a rifle, have superpowers, being a secret agent, swim (but i can never drive in my dream despite having a driving licence in reality!) etc etc in my dreams 😉)

maybe also because we don't know how to unwind and 'empty' out our minds before we sleep?
on a fengshui's perspective, it may mean that you are sleeping in the 'wrong directions'! 😉

I did very badly for one of my exams when I was young.

Since then, every year I'll suffer this recurring dream of me sitting in a big hall staring blankly at the exam qn while hearing the scribbling of the answers from the students around me. And then I'll be on the verge of cracking. It's a very scary dream.

Recently, I dreamt that I was taking PSLE, and I know it's all ds's fault! 😆

                      markfch,
talking about recent dreams, recently, i dreamt that i missed my ds2's P1 registration! i told myself (in my dreams) that 'cannot be! he is only K1 and due for registration next year!', but someone else (can't remember who) said, 'no! your kid in K2 already and you have missed phase 2c registration!'
                      😓
so much for reading ksp P1 registration threads at night. 😓
