These type of shoes are meant to wear with minimum walking, eg. Walk to car park, drive to destination's car park, walk to destination and sit whole evening = attend wedding dinner. Haha!

      :faint:

and here i was thinking of getting a pair of his shoes or christian louboutin shoes which i heard was really comfortable. now have to think thrice........

Then why are women crazy over the shoes?

Personally I do not like stilettos.
I like wedges, and I particularly like Easy Spirit wedges.
I have 2 pairs of this model.
I can walk the whole of orchard road without my feet feeling sore.

Me too. I also like jogging shoes for walking instead of heels. But it's Nike for my 3 DS and me. Only DH likes Addidas. DS had Addidas before but now swear by Nike. DS1 bought his Nikes from Bangkok - cheaper and their latest designs hit the stores at least 6 months earlier than Singapore. šŸ˜‰

i like my running shoes, birkenstock, brown slippers too for comfort. but that nice long skinny heels is just something i would like to wear once in a while.

wearing a nice pair of long skinny heels with anything be it dress, long/short skirts or even jeans, simply makes one feel elegant and a bit more girlish/lady and also a bit sexy. the feel is just so there so mmmmmmmm. or maybe that is just me....... šŸ˜‚

 my heels.. and the higher the better partially coz I am short

my heels average ard 4 inches and for comfy wear, chunky heels are the best

I don't own Jimmy Choos but I do know people who do and yup, they buy Jimmy Choos coz of the unique design + brand name, definitely a big no no to walk around it for more than couple of hours.

its a pair of shoes meant for show šŸ˜“ , it isn't meant for long standing wear šŸ˜›

No... this kinda shoes are not meant for walking. They're meant for ladies who get carried around on a palanquin!! šŸ˜†

I like my slippers at $2.90 from the market. I would wear these everywhere if I dared!!

same thing happened to my friend's pair of sf shoes but jimmy choo???? i am surprised.....

Hm, I am surprised by the writer! It's not just Jimmy Choo, but all these stiletto type shoes, and including expensive leather covered heels that may need resoling before wearing. There will not be an instruction tag because it is all down to HOW you intend to use your shoes and your lifestyle. How often you wear them and the duration, whether you drive, or take public transport. Will you be walking mostly on carpets, on hard ground? Then take a look at the sole and get it appropriately re-soled if need to before you wear them. (Even for carpets, you may want to resole them but with a thinner sole as the original sole can slip on carpet).

It's like you won't wear a diamond watch while taking a hot shower or into the swimming pool right?

If you use nubuck or suede, you have to put a protective coating before wearing them and recoat regularly. If you use normal leather, you have to condition the leather. Taken care of properly, shoes will last a long time regardless of brand.
