Random Acts of Kindness - Time to feel GOOD

DesertWind:
Yesterday went to visit my parents and got to hear so many good news amidst my father's sickness and home-bound situation!....
Sorry to hear about your dad's situation. It is a very tough both for him and the family. Do remember the years' of LOVE that you all shared, and stay strong and united.

TheKiasu:
Yes, it does make a difference. Thanks, TheKiasu!Yeah, doing charity work makes you feel good.
I do visit disabled homes sometimes, help out there. It makes you feel you have done something, contributed something in life. It makes you happy.
It does make you feel the difference, doesn't it?
Congrads on those who have done random acts of kindness, and those who have done to help them out, and those who have received, we all do benefit in some way or another don't we?

everyone was so kind...............hope all went well for whoever was in the ambulance............

Continuing the thread starter's intention, I would like to share my experience of the nice people I met today.........
1) was carrying my grocery trolley down the mrt flight of stairs.
Uncle behind me:you should be using the lift over there.. It will be easier.
Me:it is ok. This is not very heavy and much faster to use stairs.
Uncle :then you be careful. Slowly walk.
Me: Ok. Thank you.
2) an auntie who was checking multiple ez link cards was holding up the queue that was beside the queue that I was on. She had some difficulties finding the cards in her trolley bag that's why the queue was held up. When she was done, she turned around to thank the person behind for waiting.
auntie very gracious.
3) looking for something in an unfamiliar Cold Storage, I approached a staff who stopped her packing and walked me down to the aisle to ensure I get to the correct shelf.

I had a similar good experience today too.
At Clementi ntuc, I was looking for a certain brand of mocked abalone. Dd told me out of stock as she could not locate any. So I asked a staff who was pushing out some frozen stuff. He told me he would find the staff who looks after the canned food. In about a minute, a female staff carried a carton of mocked abalone and said sorry for keeping me waiting. I was quite touched and told her no issue at all, as I was still looking through the canned food section.
