Hi there,
I gave birth to DS2 in June. Hoping to get to know mummies who have delivered or are going to deliver this year.
We can share information like milestones, vaccinations, which play school to enroll them (when it’s time) and more …
Please provide details like your nick, sex of baby, month of date or/and month of birth and the area you live in and I will compile a list. -

Hi autumnbronze,
Joining the club as my DS2 was born in June 2011!
Ya, great idea to share about milestones and such. Living in the Central of SG! -
:welcome: and :rahrah: :congrats: :rahrah: DesertWind
Wuhahahahaha, a coincidence that we both have sons and both of them were born in June.
The fun time is starting just about now. I am sure you'er enjoying his baby talk, chuckles and the ability to wriggle his hands and reach out to you. I know I am. The little one also likes company a lot. He tends to get lonely when left alone
Are you breastfeeding him or is he on formula, or both? Does he already have a schedule ie sleeping, feeding etc....?? -
Hi there!
DD2 born in July 2011. Staying in the West.
Are you SAHM or FTM on maternity leave? -

Yes, the fun time is now! My BB is really smiley and chuckling a lot now and he loves company too! Don't like to be left alone for even one short moment so got to carry him and/or talk to him most of the time.
I am still breastfeeding him and on formula like once a day usually just before he sleeps at night. Feeding schedule wise about 3 hourly. This BB hardly sleeps during the day but will sleep soundly at night so the schedule is like ours. Fortunately for me since I am taking the night shift! ke..ke..ke.. -

:congrats:
I have just finished my maternity leave and returned to work.
How about you? -
Hello everyone!
:congrats: on your new babies!
DS3 is not so new anymore, but still a baby! He was born in Jan. Almost had to take him out in 2010, two months premature. We managed to keep him in till full-term. Then, he had to be hospitalised twice. But he's big and healthy now. He's my miracle baby!
He's crawling and cruising now. Trying to stand unsupported. Whenever he succeeds for one second, he gets so excited his arms flail about and he promptly falls on his bum!
Loves to play with his kor kors and finds them very funny.
Makes R2D2 sounds. He's got a shiny forehead, just like R2D2!
Takes mostly breast milk. A bit of solids about twice a day.
He sleeps relatively well (or maybe I'm used to the lack of sleep?), and has two naps a day. but has been waking up more at night in the past week coz his teeth are pushing through. Gets really irritable sometimes. Poor fella! He's always trying to chew and suck on stuff to soothe his gums.
I can't believe how time flies! He used to be tiny, and would be happy to just lie there. Now...uh-oh...
Have fun with your babies! -
Hi Desert Wind
Lucky you to be going back to work. May sound ridiculous but I am looking forward to going back to work too. Made a wrong decision to have extended mat leave thinking that it would be a nice break from work. But didn’t realize that I would be so bored at home. Have a maid and baby sleeps most of the morning so there’s nothing much to do except to wait for DD1 to return home from school and supervise her work. Probably be better when baby is a bit older and more responsive. Originally planned to return to work in Jan but now thinking of going back earlier… -

I took a full 3 months of my maternity leave already but still left with about 2 weeks more to go. Right now I will take on flexible basis ie. half-days and one day as and when so that I can be around when both kids are at home at the same time! This week I went back to work \"gently\" by working only half-day in the afternoon. Morning get up late, have time to settle baby and then see DS1 to school. After lunch, just nice to go to work! I wish this is a permanent part-time but no, it is not. But my office is flexible so I will use up the remaining leave in this way!
Think a full 2 months of maternity leave is the minimum one should take to rest. After that, the rest you can always decide to take over one year. Or why not work half-day like me for as much as you can?
