My P6 boy just told me that Mindstretcher had a ‘no homework policy’. Has anyone heard about it? After that, I noticed that the amount of work noticeably decreased. My girl also attended Mindstretcher before him, and the worksheets given were so much more. Now, most of the lesson is used for doing worksheets that were meant to be homework. I did not send my boy to Mindstretcher for 2 hours every week just to do worksheets in class. It’s quite a waste of time and money.

I beg to differ regarding the Homework Policy. I quite like the \"no homework policy\" as the school already have tonnes of homework to finish. In any case, my kids still bring back some homework to do when he cannot finish the work in class. But not because all the time used in class is for homework as I do check with him on what is being done in class.
The fewer worksheets can be due to the more detailed teaching in classes especially when the teachers are now using technology to teach - the E-study Buddy . I personally log in to check on the e- worksheets and find them interactive and useful for make up lessons and catch up.
But then, this is just my personal opinion. For the interest of all, the Finnish students have a successful model of Academic Success without homework, See links below.

Hi, I’m thinking of enrolling my children (P6 & P4) for English, Maths & Science tuitions at Mind Stretcher Tampines Branch. Does anyone know if the tuition there is good?

My girl attending P1 in a year's time. She's currently with I Can Read. Hoping to be promoted to ICR level soon.
Any mummies with kids at MS woodlands branch? Care to share reviews please?
Intend to start my girl at MS in probably 6-12 months time. MS woodlands branch is just few mins walk from our house so it's really tempting. Haha!
Would love to gather more review on MS's English, Maths & Chinese classes

This year ,I think that Mind Strether wants to cut costs .They did not even provide any writing paper for the English class .They also told us to buy our own paper .
