South View's take up rate for Phase 1 seems slightly lower compared to the previous years, so Phase 2A(2) will be an important phase then we will roughly knows what's left for Phase 2C, which I guess will definitely be balloted.

I dun think all slots are given to PVs. Based on my calculations from kiasuparents for 2010 stats for ytps, it seemed there are 22 applicants but only 12 were allocated. Don’t know if my calculation is accurate though.

Oh read moe website again n it says 50% of vacancies after 2A is given to 2B i calculated again and it seems to say the number registered in 2B is lower than the quota. there are only 12 applicants and all got it. Not sure i’m right this time.

I know Phase 2B is not only for PVs. But, for YTPS, the majority of places required for Phase 2B will be taken up by PVs. From what I gathered, there are ard 30 PVs for YTPS for Year 2013 intake. Based on this calculation. There will be ard 100 or less places by the time Phase 2B ended.

Hi everyone,
I am desperately needing advices from you lot here. My husband and I are both PR but our kids aren’t. We have just submitted the PR applications for them last week and apparently it takes 4-6 months to approve. My eldest son is going to P1 next year, I guess there is no way for us to register him in any school during P2C or P2CS but to wait until P3 for foreigners registration? We are living within 1.1km from Teck Whye, 1.2km from CCKPS, 1.4km from DLS, 1.6km from Concord, 2.3km from Kranji, 2.75km from Yew Tee, and 3.26km from Unity. I think there is nothing I can do at the moment but to check the vacancies available after P2CS by calling up the schools? What happens if all the 8 schools in CCK is filled up? WIll the MOE send my child to the next nearest school in the nearby neighbourhood?
Another question, we are also looking for a kindergarten in CCK, can anyone recommend one? I heard Kinderland and Apple Tree is good but their fees are high. Has anyone sent their child to PCF Choa Chu Kang Blk 10 or Blk 123? Are they any good?
Thank you so much in advance. -

The following CCK schools went into Phase 2C Supp registration last year (2011) :-
1) Concord Primary School >> 28/44 (vacancy/subscribed)
2) Kranji Primary School >>116/57 (vacancy/subscribed)
3) Teck Whye Primary School >>165/42 (vacancy/subscribed)
Kranji & Teck Whye is opened for Phase 3 after that - 2010 & 2009 yielded the same outcome too.... hope this helped. Good Luck ! -
