Android or Apple?
-
I like the apple apps but canβt type on the iPhone no matter how hard I try (maybe my fingers are too fat). So I use the iPad for the apps. Blackberry is still my main phone due to the keyboard and bb messenger. I also carry a galaxy s1 for android apps. Somehow I find itβs easier to type on it than iPhone although both have touch screens.

for typing on your android smartphone, try Swype. You should have it on your Galaxy S. It's a new way of \"typing\". Instead of pressing on a letter, you slide your finger over the letter and the app recognizes that the letter has been entered. -

Actually i like my old nokia phone alot and it is much easier to use eg speed dialing and sms.smurf:
then you dun need so much function mah, just a phone would do.

ya lor, also have a $50 nokia no contract type, buy from 7-11, no heartache when lost
However I reckoned that if I did not get a smart phone, I will become a laid back person.
Just before I got my phone, I did not have any inkling of what WhatsApp, Market, etc was.....in fact i did not even know the difference among all the smart phones.....now i am slowly learning. -

I didn't think it was necessary but he considers it a learning process and always wants to try the latest products. Now that I'm using the smart phones, don't think I can switch back to the simple phones anymore. -

Agree totally. I was previously a Nokia fan, but after using the iphone 3GS more than 2yrs ago, Nokia's smartphones are nowhere near where iphone is.

As for the Android phones, think only Samsung can 'compete' with iphone. -

I beg to differ.

I compare my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S with DH iphone4, mine seems more versatile

I resisted getting the iphone 3GS 2 years ago...then got so fedup with 3GS battery going dead so fast. My Nokia Music Express was good. Hubby kept asking me to switch to smart phone. Now I cannot use Nokia anymore...Iphone is so easy to use.

That day at about 3pm (not peak period), when I went to buy chwee kway, the stall auntie was playing with her iphone........
that I can agree. I've seen uncles, aunties, policeman, traffic cop, hawkers, fruit sellers, etc.. all using iPhone. Singapore seems to have an affluent population. I guess it's partly the hype, the brand name that attracts people. Apple has done a pretty good brand marketing job.kayetch:
I asked one for the reason, and it's simply :'too many iphone users'!
that she did not notice me.

After trying various smartphone, good old Nokia (traditional) is still the reliable one. in fact i have to fish it out each time a new smartphone fails me and in the end it just doesn't seem so 'smart' to switch anymore.
iPad for other things.
