      Mum_2Gals:
btw, do you know whether enrichment classes accept kids who are still on diapers?? My no2 is 2yo+, still not toilet-trained  Mummy's fault, not \"actively\" training her

Yes, there are centres that do, dahling. πŸ˜‰

      I oredi PM-ed you a nice place.

        Mum_2Gals:

[Ha ha, I've \"spoilt' him, always think that since I'm a SAHM, I'll settle all household chores. When he helps out, it's a bonus :celebrate: Luckily, he's not too demanding with housework, always reminds me that I quit my job to take care of the kids, not to clean the house or wash the toilets πŸ˜„ But then, if I don't wash, who will :?

I cook & do laundry. Dislike cooking but no choice, part of SAHM's job description 😐
Hubby helps to wash dishes in the evening & mop the floor on weekends. He irons his own clothes too.

I want to cook for my family cos my Mum's a great cook πŸ˜„ But I'm still learning, so it is Very Very time-consuming. Sometimes DH will say it's easier to eat out, else he'll feel obliged to offer to help wash up after meals  Wow, ENVY ENVY again. DH only helps out on \"ad hoc\" basis πŸ˜„
        sleepy:
That's because I have a massive ongoing project - my kids' room is like a rubbish collection center. They are hoarders! Collect junks like empty yakult bottles, toilet rolls, empty tissue box, pieces of scrap papers. Refused to let me throw away. Things piled up in lightning speed in their room. I'm on this perpectual race to throw things away before they got hold of those 'treasures'. And I have to spring clean their room every few weeks otherwise :!:

Ha ha, you know what? I'm the one collecting toilet rolls, empty tissue box, pieces of scrap papers etc and DH will be the one nagging at me :!: . But I'll limit to maybe 4 toilet rolls, 4 kitchen napkin rolls, 2 tissue box and a couple of magazines  Those are my materials for craft work :celebrate:

Definitely no regrets. Now that they have less time for me (that's the ironic part), I'm thinking of going back to work - maybe on a part time basis, so as , not to be too tired to meet their needs in the night when they are back from school.

BUT, it's a tough decision to make after staying at home for some time. Nothing beats staying at home, actually... πŸ˜‰

              hi csc,

              Thanks for yr note.
I really wish to do my part as their mommy rather than leaving it to MIL. …

I wish to spend more time with them before they enter Secondary school cos they will be so busy with their CCA and they won’t have time for us…

                    Mum_2Gals:

My N1 is not 3yo yet. Will be sending her to CC for N2 next year. Considering ballet class when she turns 3 πŸ˜„ I'll prefer enrichments on weekdays, cos weekends are \"family time\". But that would mean I'll have to bring two kids on my own, and K1 will have to wait with me while N1 is having her class. How do you handle that? :?:
                    I thought N1 is 2006 kid? Yours year-end child?

Me too, I prefer enrichment on weekdays. My dd1 will bring along a book to read if waiting for dd2. If dd1 is the one attending classes then I bring dd2 to shopping.

On weekends, I try to schedule their classes on the same day same time same location.

Yap, end of year-end, still very \"baby\" πŸ˜„ Ha ha, guessed I just need to give them more time, easier to manage when they're older.

Good idea  Can squeeze in some couple time too :celebrate: Must check out suitable courses in shopping malls soon, not easy to get same time-slots for two πŸ˜„

                        Mums to Gals,

Ballet at 3yo seems a bit too young.
Personally, I think 4+ to 5yo better as they are more aware of
what they really like, so your money will be well spent.
The leotard set itself already costs $85 and if you take up
ballet at reputed centres, the fees are almost double compared
                        to community centres.

My girl started to ask to go for ballet when she was 4yo.
I managed to only sign her up at 5yo at our community centre
where the min. entry age is 5yo.

And since then, almost 3 years now, she has not missed a lesson. πŸ˜„
