Wat about curbing ur temper when dealing with ur kids? I guess as SAHMs, we will need double the patience with our kids n how do u do it?

As for me, sometimes I will try the ignore method with my dd2 coz she simply can't listen to me when she is wailing or throwing a tantrum.

My kids are in primary school so less wailing. The surest way to trigger my temper is
1. when they mess up the house
2. when they argue non-stop
πŸ˜†

Same here. Both of them are in school in the morn...so I have peace.
But I will blow up when they start to argue. Or refuse to cooperate like getting work done.
πŸ˜‚ me 2...now then realise am same boats with u all :rotflmao: really dont understand how come children are so active although they had spent half a day in school or some time even more but when back, they will still start the 'music' arent they tired! Really enjoy the morning time... :boogie:

My dd2 is equally the same, very attached to me. Ppl used to say that girls are easier to take care as they are not as active compared to boys but this doesn't apply to my dd2.
Think girls r generally more emotion than boys n hence more sticky to us!! πŸ†’

I will withdraw privilege. For example, they asked to play uno before going to bed. I agreed. 3 minutes into playing, they started arguing & screaming at each other. So I instructed them to stop playing immediately, switch off lights & go to bed. They would blame one other for getting into trouble and gave each other silent treatment, then fell asleep πŸ˜†
Yah, they always end up squabbling hor! πŸ˜‚

Agreed. However my dd1 is less active than my dd2. I think dd1 is relatively more demure than my dd2. She can sit still by herself when I was occupied with household chores. More ladylike.... Look wise, dd2 resembles my hb whereas dd1 looks like me. Quite confidently, my mum says my 3rd one will be a boy. Don't know true or not :? Nevertheless, I am very happy n contented to hv both dds in my life even though sonless.

Ppl used to say that the characteristic between the 1st n 2nd kids are normally opposite. They will behave differently whether or not same or opposite gender.

After they return from school, it's total chaos from the time they have lunch to baths and getting hw done. I must learn to scream less and use the cane more. I don't look forward to weekends bcos it's stressful and noisy with them at home 24/7. My younger one is harder to handle bcos of her moods.
My son is always up to some nonsense even with me in the same room.
