My washer has been replaced. I do find that the LG service is good, they replaced my washer very fast. Unfortunately, I'm still having the same problem with the new washer. Very strange. -

Yup, I am more busy than usual. Both DS1 and DH studying for exams. I'm doing more now, including fetching and sending DS2 for weekend classes alone. Plus, cooking every meal till end of exams. Can't wait for exams to be over.
What have you been doing lately?
Good luck to all for the upcoming exams!! -

Oh, I have not call for demo. Too busy to arrange.
Why do you need to replace the washer? -
The washer kept showing 3 hours for a 3/4 full load and then, if switch off and on again, for the same load of laundry using same program ( cotton ) will show 1.5 hours for wash. Inconsistent time for same wash of laundry. After changing motherboard, problem persists. Requested for replacement washer, but same issue. Now waiting for LG to get back to me.
Other than that, the washer is fine. However, it does make it difficult to teach my helper which program to use. So this only adds on to my current "busy"ness. -

I will switch off my washer after use but since I am using intensive mode, I do not have this problem as it is pre set to 1hr. -
SAHM Chew:
Nope. I don't switch off the main switch at plug. Should I switch off this main switch?

I use the on / off button on washer panel to switch on and off, when I find the time indicated too long... and when i retry same program, washer can give a totally different wash time for same load! Sometimes, I press pause and then switch to another program.
I use the intensive program sometimes, but will program to lower temperature. I wash most clothes at 30 or 40 degrees. However, the intensive mode is for up to 4 kg. On certain days, my household washing is lots more. Certain days, I need to do 2 full load washes on the same day! I only wash laundry about 4 days in a week because it's all dried indoors, I prefer to keep the home clear of hanging laundry on the other days. -

Usually, I washed on alternate days with full load. You try to off at the main switch and see if there is any difference.
