Btw, what is this tea ceremony about? 😉

Haha , tea ceremony is not to offer tea to principal. It consists of P's address and dialogue with Y1 parents, initiation ceremony for Y1 students and tea reception for parents. It's on the day the Y1 break camp. 😄

Oh ya! I remember now. Hahaha ... actually my dd's time don't have. 2010 year 1 have this. Quite interesting ... 😄

If I am not mistaken, GAT stand for General Achievement Test.

It is used by mnay educational institutions to determine how "good" a student is compared to his peers; in Singapore many secondary schools offering the DSA required a student to sit for their GAT.

          Hi sall

i haven't heard any news yet but think need to prepare both ds and myself that he is going to rv after all. he is disappointed that he didn't see any soccer being listed as a cca. so he wanted to join table tennis which he enjoys. but i am trying to \"discourage\" him as table tennis actually takes up 3 days per week, including saturdays! he does not play table tennis at all in primary school, he plays at home with his brother using the dining table ..haha...

i am trying to \"encourage\" him to sign up for inforcomm because of robotics but i think i will let him decide....

as for tea ceremony, i know the form only states parents, but i think i will just bring the younger ones along since nobody at home to jaga them.... i think it is also a good opportunity for them to participate in gor gor's school activities.... if they said kids not allowed, then, i bring them to jurong point for shopping while dh attends the ceremony lor....:)
