Thanks. I am still in a dilema of which sch to register my child next year. My planning is should i let my child try st andrew in phase 2B as we are associated church member to the sch but not within 2km and if not sucessful my next plan is to register him in Rosyth under P2C and with 1KM.
Do u think the plan is good or too risky? Currently i staying in hougang near Holy innocent pri n under 1KM too but accroding to their past stats less than 1KM also ballot in P2C no diff fr rosyth.
Head cracking? -
any idea will rosyth reduce their P1 intake after the sch renovation is done? (i suppose the renovation is to cater switching from double to single session)

hi, my son is going to P1 next year. i have not heard any good feedback on St Gabriel. does anyone know if Yang Zheng is a good school?
i am looking for a school which has a good balance of academic and sports. i have heard that Houngang primary is strong for their sports but i live at Lorong Chuan so can only try for phase 2c. historically is this phase under balloting?
Can anyone advise me? thanks. -

What is the distance between your house and the school? -
Hi . Hougang Pri need balloting . If u stay at lor chuan. No chance to be balloted at all. Even for yangzheng , need balloting for 1-2 km. I thk is 30 applicants for 5 vacancies last year.

Dear Chief and the rest
I am looking for a school for my daughter due for P1 registration next year. To be honest, I do not intend to send her to the top school as it may or may not be a good fit for her. I would rather choose a good environment for her to grow with comfort and confidence. I am looking at Zhonghua primary school and also visited the school. The school principle is very experienced and friendly. May I know more info from the friend here about the school? like CCA, teachers’ capability. the pace of the study for P1 - P3, etc…
Thank you. -

You may like to post your question in the Parents' Networking Groups section for Zhonghua:

Yes, I have visted the section, but it is very quiet, not as informative as this thread. I thought it might be possible to get more info here.
