Thanks! -
Hi have anyone heard of Cedan? Is there anyone out there with kids formerly from that school? saw some forum that it is good. How did the children from that school do in their primary school. Would like to send my
daughter to a child care. she is now 3 years old. Want her to go to school to learn.I am actively looking around.

cedan is no longer a childcare. It was taken over by cambridge. But i heard that now cedan is an enrichment centre at punggol.

Hi u may want to chk out Phyllis sierra cove at punggol Marina country club house. Give her a call to enquire. Thanks for your prompt reply.
I like the environment and the way the teacher teach in Nativity Church.
Moreover, if she study in this school, she has higher chance to enter into CHIJ Primary School.
Hopefully I can find a after school care for her. Thanks for your suggestion.
My daughter is there for student care n I quite like the place n has requested to ask for adult supervision while the kids bathe there as the place is really good for kids to unwind.
I don't prefer those void deck student care centre. T.
Read her blog n decide
Good luck. -

Hi,Hi Cayla,
Care to share your feedback on these 3 schools -Loving kids, Carpe Diem, Intellect Monte Pal & Q-Dees?
Thanks!
My kiddo now with Loving Kids ... I find the school good, teachers and principals speak well and they really communicated well with each other.
My son is adjusting slowly as we changed childcare as caregivers are too old and sick to help.
I find the place clean and airy. Unlike Qdees - dark and humid smelling. I hear children coughing away at Qdees(with lots of phelgm in their throat kind of cough) and that puts me off.
I like that afternoon session there's montessori sessions for the kids to have their own learning at their own pace.
Intellect Monte Pal is full montessori but they have no vacancy currently when i last call last week.
Carpe Diem also has no vacancy and the person who answers the call does not speak well. There's no vacancy till 2012.. sigh
Hope this helps. -
Thanks for the feed back. Went to Cedan today n spoken to the
principal. Their class size is not too big like those in child care. Which
i felt is pretty good. About 12 (max) to a class. They are quite academic, preparing children for primary 1. Saw the children in K2 class writing
short story with their teacher guiding them. The children used their phonics to help them spell words that they donβt know with the teacher guiding them.
Went to a few kindergarten n childcare around the area, however noticed the difference, the children in Cedan arec able to write n speak quite well. Children looked happy. -
Hi Janet222,
Thanks for sharing this info.
Cheers, -

Are you refering to the cedan at punggol? You are very observant. I agreed totally with you. I have signed up my child with cedan last week and will join the class next month. I have heard from parents who kids graduated from cedan (when it was a childcare before changing to an enrichment centre), they really have an edge above other kids in primary school.
