For round 2 notification There was a notification letter in PG and there was also a hard copy letter handed to the students by class teachers informing them they are shortlisted for round 2. Parents had to submit intent to participate in round 2 by filling up a formsSG.

Notification of outcome of round 2 was via email early Dec 2021. This was followed by a briefing and then school selection and posting was out 23 Dec. I think in 2021 everything was delayed and pushed back due to the pandemic.

After attended Round 1 test -

If your P3 kid don't receive any notification for Round 2, means not notified. Only those successful for Round 2 test, will be informed (notified)

Isn't round 1 held at school level for everyone?

A few weeks before round 1, the school informed parents and parents who didn't want their kids to participate would choose to opt out. Those whose parents didn't opt out would then take the Round 1 tests during school time.
