I also running out of idea cooking lunch for boy. usually, just tabao, or eat whatever leftover in fridge. or just throw meat, veg and noodle to boil, scoop up and put some sauce! hahha. taste still ok lah, but of course, not as nice as tabao lah, but no MSG lor. 😉

I eventually went to Greenridge Shopping Centre.

They have a cosy Banquet nook there that served
me (today), by far one of the nicest and spicy-est
Chicken Noodle and topped with slurpy Dumpling
Soup with shreds of xiao bai chye. And i still cud
stomach a nice Mango Sunrise from next door
Kopitiam! Too full to eat dinner!

And there’s a small table at the entrance of Greenridge
selling fantastic book bargains to end the perfect lunch!
I just had to buy a handful there! Will post the pictures up soon!

my current fav for family is Haato (tucked at at corner of Ridgewood Condo) where they serve fusion jap, ramen, spagetti, pizza, baked rice, lovely waffle, gelato etc in a cosy ambience. Prices reasonable too. Jurong Country club cafeteria (open to non members) is pleasing in the view - a good way to de-stress parents…

If you drive, park at the side gate (along road) and just walk up…to Haato. Let me know your verdict! I go there when my DD takes lessons in pandan valley too…
