PCF/PAP Kindergartens
-
Hi paperdoll, I don’t have any child in Blk 270 PCF (actually it’s called Sparkletots @ Punggol South, right?)
BUT it’s my intention to enrol my girl (turning 3 next yr) for Yr 2013 class & I went there this morning, intending to do the registration. To my horror, I was told that the classes are fully booked & the waiting list is 100+… it goes the same to Yr 2014!!
It must be either very good or due to the limited centres @ this area… My neighbour’s 2 sons are there… now I wondering how long before they had registered (2-3yrs ahead?)
Haiz… They should have balloting system to give priorities to residents there rather than go on 1st come 1st served!
Now, I’m so lost… Don’t know where to place my girl…
Anyone got children there or heard about them, please share your comments! -
Dear parents,
Please support petition to MOE Minister, to regulate pre-school fees.
We need more UNITED STRONG voices. Stand up and fight for our children, fight for our future Singapore.
If not, there'll be an uncontrollable escalating hike rates in PCF and all other kindergarten school fees. The fees will only keep increasing upwards.

PCF looking at giving priority to citizen kids
One of the largest preschool players here, the PAP Community Foundation (PCF), is looking into whether its admission policy should be tweaked to favour citizens over permanent residents (PRs).
A PCF spokesman said in response to questions from The Straits Times that it was reviewing its admission policy, following the Education Ministry's changes last month to the registration scheme for children entering Primary 1.

Hi,
Does any one know which PCF is good in Puggol area?
Need some feedback.
Thanks. -
Can I know what’s the registration process for PCF like? Is it like first come first serve? Do I need to que outside in advance? As I will be working on the registration day and I will get my mum to go on behalf, I don’t wish for her to stand there 1-2 hrs early just to wait.

If I am not wrong, there is no need to queue. This year, they have phases similar to P1 registration.
Just go between the times and dates given. After the end of the timing, they will look at all forms and decide the priority.
I think Singaporeans get priority, then PRs and then foreigners.
Within each group, those that live within the same constituency as the kindy gets priority.
