For DD, the honeymoon period, ie orientation, is over.
Lessons will officially begin on Monday.
Understand some schools have extended honeymoon of 2 weeks.

Have lot of things to learn and lucky I have full battery after 3 years of rest!
BTW, ,my boss is a nice person and all my colleagues are helpful and can tolerance me for being so blur and slow lah!

Heard from DD that the exam will be in 6 weeks time and in between there will be some mini test.
Also, they are required to go through the slides (in powerpoint mode) before attending one of the subject!
BTW, there are 11 examination subjects and 3 non-examination subjects! :shock:

When we went to DD's school yesterday, we were also shown a list of dates of all the tests in semester 1.
However, this mother refuses to let the dates register just yet.
There'll be time to study and maybe even panic, later.
DD needs to enjoy the first few weeks of school first...we're just gonna take it slow...adjust to sec sch life, make new friends (both DD and Mother)...

For most schools the first term tests marks are not counted right ?
At ACSI the principal showed clearly in a slide during his talk to parents that first term tests are not counted.
