No, this is not what I said. I said that MOE provided 'helps/benefits' to GEP program but did not extend these 'helps/benefits' to mainstreams and I think these are good to mainstreamers. It has nothing to do whether I think the current GEP program is a good route or not! I'm supper 'kiasu' and wanted to have a much better alternative route (based on my standard) for my dc and yet get to enjoy childhood.

So what you're saying is: \"Not sure GEP is good ornot, but still beats mainstream programme hands down lah.\" My interpretation correct ornot?

My ds confirm mainstreamer ... Now you made me worried he won't get good education.

Oh I see what you mean now. Me England bad. You not convinced whether GEP route is good ornot, but think that having smaller classes [like those in GEP] for mainstreamers is definitely good lah.

Took me a while to get what you meant. See, that's why my ds is in mainstream.

But wait a min, if you not sure whether GEP is good ornot, why you want to want mainstream to copy any part of GEP? Alamak, I confused again![/quote] :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
I also :? Think must be cos I'm mainstream also 😉

You are confused because you assumed GEP program are just these three areas. GEP system is more than these three areas that I touched on.

Ah, I see. Pardon if I don't care for policies crafted for the hyper kiasu in mind.

How come I dont seem to understand some of posts too. :? I think as a parent, it is impt to know tt to be in gep does not mean that yr child's future is 前途无量; not selected does not mean the child 前途无亮 too. It maybe a blessing in disguise. Just my own view.

From what i have gathered, there are many parents in this forum whose kids are in the mainstream (primary sch) and now doing very well in the sec sch too. I believe some are doing better than the Geppers. But there is really no need to compare. You don’t have to be in GEP to do well in life.

I think I finally got it!

She’s asking for additional resources to be allocated to the mainstreamers!
                  Am I right?

Forgot who said it - selected is bonus, not selected also ok. Majority of us in mainstream anyway. If not of GEP calibre & maturity, why stress everyone over it.

Actually there are many clamouring for the GEP materials
I really cannot appreciate 'treasure', saw some but I found it hard/dunno how to use. Perhaps I'm too stupid or my child not smart enough to be able to utilize such 'precious' stuff.
