How much do one have to take for it to be effective?

How is it taken, like added to other foodstuff?

Can be added to yogurt, smoothies, or just sprinkle onto your salad, rice.

I read that it should be taken about 2 tablespoons daily.

It contains more calcium then milk, more iron then spinach, antioxidants, Omega-3, high fibre, high in protein and a lot of other minerals.

If a child wish to turn vegetarian, this chia seed would be a good replacement for meat?

Not sure if can completely replace, should not be a problem if the child eats a wide variety of vegans food to get nutrients. Chia seeds protein are complete which is a good alternative, can also try Quinoa as they have complete protein and quite nutrients packed too.

dd1 never like meat and it's getting worse. Trying to find a range of food alternatives for her.

I have been using Chia Seeds for a year. It is tasteless. I soak in water to make a Chia Gel so DH can add into his drinking water he used when doing his sports. It is excellent for hydrating the body. Sometime I just swallow a tablespoonful of the gel. I also sprinkle onto my vege, muesli, smoothies. You can use Chia seed with any food as it is tasteless and it is packed with nutrients.

Yes, eat it raw. Sprinkle it on your food. Or soak to make gel. You can add the gel to your favourite dessert. It is like sago, gives a very nice texture in the mouth. Can also add the gel to your daily drinking water. It's so versatile.

I think there are white and black type. I read they are equal in nutrition value. I think the one I have is mixed.

I bought from iherb.com, cheaper. taking it for fun. Just put in plain water and drink it down after about 10 min. There are white and black (?) Types. Apparently they are equivalent. Online price cheaper and so far shiping never failed me.

New to the website pls hunt around for discount code. Existing members will be happy to share. I just paiseh to post mine. The price really ridiculous cheap compare to shops.
