Hi janice_0950, yes, creative tools will be used and there are always new tools. maybe that’s why my girl love it as there are always new things to explore.

why not call up a centre near you and let your son have the assessment being done 1st. Explain to him there are homeworks and have to be done independently. Maybe he will like it as the booklets are very lively and colourful. He may be also excited to use the tools…

Both my children had been to MOM for 2 yrs. I feel that it is good to send them there before P1 to give them intellectual exposure & training. But I switched to home 1 to 1 tution when they are in primary 2 cos I feel that it is more focused and exams oriented.

Any recommendation for MPM center in the EAST?

Quite a few to choose from, not sure which center is better.

My DS has been with parkway branch for 2 yrs+. I am very satisfied with it. However I would be selective over the day he's there. I specifically want to ensure that couple of teachers are on duty πŸ˜‰ Like many other centres, we tend to have our preference of certain trainers.

You may also want to check out siglap branch. A couple of my friends' children are there and the parents are satisfied with it too. But then again, it's probably also dependent on the exact teachers the child is assigned to. At the end of the day we need to put in that effort to follow-up on the suitability of the teachers, on top of the syllabus. We need to communicate. At the parkway branch I once noted some behaviours from certain trainer that I don't particularly agree with and spoke to the manager. We discussed about it and I was happy with the communication.

                    Hi

Which MPM is better ? Siglap or Parkway? Any difference between these 2? Any difference between a franchise outlet or main outlet ?

                    Thanks in advance πŸ™‚

hmm, it really depends on luck...meaning the teachers that are available. even in so-called better branches, they may have teachers that are not as good πŸ˜„

i only have experience with parkway branch, thus cannot comment on siglap's. however i know of a parent who was ever told that parkway branch is better πŸ˜‰ have been there for 2 over years, i am happy with them...
