I .agree with you, will find time to go have a look. thanks. When my dd was at admiralty branch, teachers are good so my dd loves going there. Hope I will be able to find the same at Bishan/Tao Payoh.jnemummy:
hi, does anyone have kids at MPM Bishan branch? I just move to Bishan area and thinking of sending my P1 girl there.
Hi jnemummy!
My kids are not with MPM but hv visited Bishan branch twice b4 and spoke to Margaret (pic) as MPM was one of my considerations.
Since all MPM have the same materials, it all boils down to the teachers, environment, class size etc to determine if you wish to place your DD there.
Bishan branch is small, they rented a room fr a tuition centre - you may wish to go down, visit e pl, chk out e materials and speak to e teacher.
Personally i feel that Toa Payoh branch is more conductive environment. -

I agree..This is my take. DD1 has been with MPM for about 1.5 yrs. I choose this prog because it's training other areas such as logical reasoning, spatial awareness, etc. I do not think directly it will help in her school curriculum though there are content found in the school curriculum. I send her there more for specific skills training. Though through the exercises I can see how they are trying to teach the kids through other ways for content that can be found in the school curriculum.
Maybe you try a term and observe the materials, then you will be able to decide if you wish to con't.

Hi MPM mummies,
Anyone have any feedback on MPM Yio Chu Kang at Highland Center?
What is the minimum age for MPM? My girl is N2 this year.
She cannot write numbers properly yet. Can I sign her up for MPM?
Thanks. -
My girl is taking Jelic at marine parade. Before she changed teacher, she was able to more than 4 to 7 activities each time. Now with new teacher doing only 3 or 4 activities. I asked the in-charge if my girl can move up to MPM program for K1 level, she said my girl not ready and can only do assessment in this July. I went to sign up MPM at another ctr. My girl progress is good and can finish K1 level soon. That ctr is fine with kids who can do well and faster.

Hi sweetiepie,
Can I know what is considered k1 level for jelic?
Wow, doing 4 to 7 activities in 1 hr is really fast.
-
No, not jelic. I siged her up doing MPM program the most basic level which is for k1. You mean your kid is doing less than 4 activities?
