why not visiting the punggol branch directly?
my friendβs son is with punggol branch since K1, he is now P5 and still doing MPM. Her son said he can quit all tuition except MPM. The only comment her son has the instructor is very strict. -
friendship:
Sure we can visit the branch to get more info/details from the person in charge but it would be also be good to hear the review directly from the parents who have kids currently with the branch..why not visiting the punggol branch directly?

Seems like your friend's son enjoyed the tuition at MPM very much..

My friend is asking what kind of review you are looking at?
Material wise? They are all the same depends whether the child is an above average, average or below average level.
Instructor wise? Her son is in P5 this year. For 5 years in primary school, he sees so many types of school teachers. MPM instructor is better that some of his school teachers or other tuition teachers, she is able to control the class to set a competitive class environment.
This is the view from an eleven-year old student.
I believe the view from a 5or 6- year old kid will be different because they are not exposed a school life before. Kindergarten students will not get used to MPM classroom setting immediately.Need time to adjust in terms of independency. -
Hi mummies..just to share... my kiddo attended the first class of MPM Jelic @ CCK yesterday... Looks like he loves it, he says he wants to go there everyday.. Even, I like the boxes too... kids get very curious & interested on opening each box, like what they get to play each time.. My DS got to do 3 boxes on the first day... Do any mommies know how many boxes kids do each day in Jelic? Just wondering if this correct pace.. So far, i hope he'll like to attend Jelic..

Normally they encourage at least 3 boxes. 3 boxes are adequate for the child to do it on his own, independently, without having much mistakes.
Initially my DS1 used to do 3 boxes and as time went by with added confidence, he did 5 boxes. However the teachers at his center do not encourage as they were afraid he is rushing it through. However they relented because of his constant nagging at the teacher to let him be. Also after the teachers realised that he has the ability to do more. So it really depends on individual.
Most kids who started on Jelic, would generally like to continue on and even to MPM. This is what I observed in my DS1 class. -
Anyone has any idea which mpm branch in pasir ris is good?
